2/22/2025 update: The 12/2024 update is still true … but we changed from 5-stars to 1-star rating for the company (American Home).
Our bathroom remodel required some repairs to the ceiling (taking down a light and patching the hole, etc). When the remodel was completed, we missed noticing that the putty design on the ceiling was not done and a screw that was put in the ceiling was showing.
About a week later, we looked up and notice the unfinished ceiling. We notified American Home on 12/3 and have contacted them many times since then thru calls and text messages. Here we are almost 3 months later, and the ceiling is still not finished.
What we learned … if you have an issue, they will not send another contractor out to fix it … it has to be the same contractor(s) that did the work. Note that our contractor has been out on other jobs, and then out of town, etc. We were told they will send supervisor’s out if the contractor cannot resolve an issue but when I requested a supervisor to come finish our project, they refused.
And getting the work rescheduled was not an easy task either – we felt like we were getting the run-around.
In summary, communication and resolution of an issue has not been a good experience for us and is such a disappointment!!
Again, Chris who did the work did an awesome job on the remodel.

12/2024 Our bathroom looks awesome! Chris gutted and redid our entire bathroom. Chris did an awesome job! Chris paid attention to details and made sure everything was installed correctly. Chris was very polite and professional. Chris made sure everything was clean and neat throughout the day and when he left. Would definitely let Chris do work for us in the future.
I felt comfortable as soon as Matt the salesman arrived. We had just been through a bad experience with another company and was a bit apprehensive. When I called American Home, I was pleasantly greeted by Wanda. She was very kind and helpful. It took a couple months, but they sent Joe to start the installation. He knew exactly how to move a wall we needed to get our new shower in. He made us feel at ease from the beginning and was very personable. Once the job was done, Connor came to inspect the job was done to their high standards. He was super nice as everyone else I had met from American Home. Overall, it was an amazing experience from sweet Wanda, Matt, Joe and Conner. I highly recommend them do any project you have.
We had Awesome Installer; his name was Dennis. He came down from Virgina, he been in the business for 35 years and really knew his stuff. He did a really awesome job, and I can’t say enough about him. Dennis, Thank you very much for a putting in our windows.
We had our master bath totally remodeled and they did a fantastic job. Pepe was phenomenal to work with and was very conscientious as to everything we wanted. We are extremely happy with our new bathroom. Left is before, right is the after.
Wonderful! One job done second job is scheduled. Matt makes the quoting process easy and without pressure. David’s team cleaned more than necessary after install. Wanda’s communication on scheduling & next steps are much appreciated. And Vanessa in finance was informative & prompt on financing. Nothing more I could ask for!
